My name is Laura Kastner, and I am the Director for CampCareUSA. I am very excited to launch this exciting new J-1 program. Having previously worked in the international camp counselor world, I know what an enriching and fulfilling experience this is for both participants and camps.

The definition of cultural exchange is an exchange of students, artists, athletes, etc., between two countries to promote mutual understanding. But the international camp counselor program is so much more.  For participants, it provides the opportunity for personal growth, developing communication skills, learning independence, gaining valuable work experience. For camps, it offers an opportunity to provide campers a window into other cultures and traditions they would not normally have.

With Intrax’s over 40 years of cultural exchange experience, I am confident that CampCareUSA will provide participants and camps with an experience they will value for years to come.  We look forward to working with you!
