Eligibility Criteria
First and foremost, you must be at least 18 years old by June 1st of the year you're planning to travel. Unfortunately, this is non-negotiable. If you’re 17 but will turn 18 before June 1st, you can still apply.
Skills and Qualities
AmeriCamp and U.S. Christian camps do not have formal qualifications, but they are looking for counsellors with key traits that contribute to a positive camp experience. You will need to pass a background check, which is a common requirement for roles working with children.
